Privacy Policy
Alternate CRM is a product offered by Alternate CRM Inc. ("Alternate CRM," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we use personal information we collect through Alternate CRM and our other products and services, and is made available to data subjects before we collect or process their personal data.
1. Information we collect
We collect information when you sign in to Alternate CRM, and when leads, accounts, and opportunities are synced into it from Salesforce or entered directly by our sales and customer-success teams. Website and product usage information is collected to keep Alternate CRM working and secure.
We do not sell your personal information for the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell, rent, release, or transfer SMS consent or phone numbers to any third party for third-party marketing purposes.

2. How we use your data
We use personal information to perform our contractual obligations and to communicate with you based on consent and legitimate business needs, including to:
- Provide the service — run Alternate CRM's core lead, account, and opportunity workflows.
- Support and respond — investigate, respond to, and resolve complaints and service issues.
- Security — detect and investigate fraud, abuse, or other violations, and keep the service secure.
- Communicate — send messages about service availability, security, and account-related notices, by email or in-app notification. You can reach us at care@Alternate CRM.com to change your communication preferences, though you cannot opt out of security or legal notices.
- Improve the product — use feedback and usage data to develop Alternate CRM's features.
3. How we share your information
We share information for the purposes above with Alternate CRM vendors that help deliver our services (for example, connected calling/messaging and data-storage providers), and when legally required — for example, in response to a subpoena or other legal process, or where we believe disclosure is reasonably necessary to investigate suspected illegal activity, defend against a claim, or protect the security of our services. Alternate CRM will never sell, rent, or disclose your personal information to third parties except as described in this policy.
4. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as we have a legitimate business relationship with you or your organization, and as long as necessary to comply with our legal or contractual obligations, and generally for no longer than two years after that relationship ends.
5. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the information we hold about you.
- Rectification — correct data we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — ask for your data to be erased from our records, in certain circumstances.
- Restriction of processing — ask us to restrict processing where certain conditions apply.
- Portability — ask for your data to be transferred to another organization.
- Object — object to certain types of processing, including direct marketing.
- Object to automated processing — object to being subject to automated decision-making or profiling.
- Judicial review — if we refuse a request under these rights, we'll tell you why, and you may complain as described below.
To exercise any of these rights, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details in Section 7.
6. Your consent
